Moonlit Silence – A Hidden Garden Beyond the Trail
Moonlit Silence – A Hidden Garden Beyond the Trail
Today, I want to share a place I found by accident......
Somewhere past Kandy, a narrow road curved away from the main path—no name on Google Maps, no signboard. At the end, a silent stream and behind it, an overgrown garden. Beyond the garden, a single crooked hut under a massive tree.
No crowd. No guide. No story on a plaque. Just silence. A silence that speaks deeper than words.
I went back again—this time under the moonlight. That second visit told me something:
“Serenity isn’t loud. It waits, hidden, in forgotten corners.”
I didn’t take many photos.
Some places feel sacred — not because of religion, but because they ask to be remembered quietly.
In the stillness, I found something I didn’t know I had lost:
the ability to feel without explanation.
Maybe one day, I’ll go back.
Or maybe it’s enough to know it’s still there,
waiting in the moonlight —
unchanged, unnamed, and unforgettable.
🖤🌙
This place doesn’t need a name. The best places usually don’t.
